The climate of the city of Kőszeg is our national value. Kőszeg has been an almost mandatory destination for those suffering from respiratory diseases looking for healing air for centuries — and it is still today. The town of Kőszeg is almost the only small town with subalpine climate in Hungary, the flora and fauna of the city and its climatic conditions — calmly to say — unique. Maintaining our local climatic conditions and maintaining the healing effect in changing circumstances is our fundamental task. To this end, Kőszeg’s climate strategy is prepared and adopted in a wide process of participation in society. To this end, climate awareness-enhancing events and series of programmes, based on intensive participation and interactivity, are organised widely and also among particularly sensitive target groups. The involvement of schools, educational institutions and organisations with climate sensitivity is also shown by a representative group of organisations cooperating in the application. Climate action and climate programmes, programmes and targeted events serve to improve our climate conditions. In lectures, forums and consultations we address the issue of clean heating methods and the positive effects of clean community heating technologies, as in Kőszeg with sensitive winter atmospheric pollution, this is a key issue. We provide a focused media campaign for the specific objectives of the climate strategy. The participation of young children and families with young children will be ensured through games and smaller activities organised in the context of large and popular urban events. Kőszeg város klímája nemzeti értékünk. Kőszeg évszázadok óta szinte kötelező úti célja volt a gyógyító levegőre vágyó légúti megbetegedésekkel küzdőknek - és az még ma is. Kőszeg város szinte az egyedüli alpesi, szubalpin klímájú kisváros Magyarországon, a város növény- és állatvilága, klimatikus viszonyai – nyugodtan mondhatóan – egyedülállóak. Helyi klimatikus viszonyaink fenntartása, a változó körülmények között is a gyógyító hatás megőrzése alapvető feladatunk. Ezt a célt szolgálja Kőszeg klímastratégiájának, széles társadalmi részvételi folyamatban történő, elkészítése és elfogadása. Ezt a célt szolgálják azok a klímatudatosságot erősítő, intenzív részvételre és interaktivitásra építő rendezvények és programsorozatok, amelyek széles körben, és a különösen érzékeny célcsoportok körében is megszervezésre kerülnek. Iskolák, klíma-érzékenységgel bíró oktatási intézmények és szervezetek bevonását mutatja a pályázatban együttműködő szervezetek reprezentatív köre is. Klíma-akciók és klíma-programok-, programsorozatok és célzott rendezvények szolgálják klimatikus viszonyaink javítását. Előadásokon, fórumokon és konzultációkon foglalkozunk a tiszta fűtési módok kérdésével, a tiszta közösségi fűtési technológiák kedvező hatásaival, hiszen az érzékeny téli légköri szennyezettséggel rendelkező Kőszegen, ez kulcskérdés. Koncentrált médiakampánnyal szolgáljuk a klíma-stratégia specifikus céljait. A kisgyermekek és a kisgyermekes családok részvételét pedig a nagy és népszerű városi rendezvények keretében szervezett játékok és kisebb foglalkozások révén fogjuk biztosítani. Kőszeg klímája évszázadokig gyógyító hatású volt. Célunk, hogy a projekt megvalósításával biztosítsuk az elkövetkező évtizedekre is a kőszegi klíma gyógyító erejét! (Hungarian)
