The new and increased quantities of the products produced in the framework of the development are made with plastic injection molding technology, which is our main activity, and are in line with the manufacturing guidelines of Mikropakk Kft., i.e. to minimise the human error factor under the greatest possible automation, production efficiency and conditions equipped with robotised technology. In particular, the MikaTech StarTech valve, developed by our own R & D department, is made with a new method of multi-component plastic injection moulding, which has not been applied to our factory in Salgótarján or to competitors producing similar products, and for which we have applied for patent protection at the international invention office. In the course of R & D & I activities, we developed the Mika integrated handle adapter in the framework of our tender No KMOP-1.1.4-09-2010-0099, the production of which is designed for the 220 tons injection moulding machine that is part of this investment. One of the main objectives of Mikropakk Ltd. is to achieve the most cost-effective production of high-quality plastic products with state-of-the-art injection moulding machines and high-tech accessories and peripherals. This is demonstrated by the plant management system, which can be found today at very few manufacturing companies in Hungary, which allows the collection of real-time and precise data on the ongoing, past and planned production through the panel PCs installed on the production machines, thereby correcting any negative trends and errors in time. The centralisation of the raw material supply system is also geared towards automation and cost-effectiveness, which prevents human error and is much more appropriate for the production of large quantities of the same material than the separate material supply of each machine. Whereas in the case of the products to be manufactured in the context of this development, the customer’s needs indicate an extremely high number of items (SVR project: hundreds of millions of order, MikaTech StartTech: 50 million/year) and TYCO electronic cable connectors, loudspeaker basket variants and GWG gas handle in the order of 100,000, but these products are larger in size, so the installation of the material supply silos is absolutely justified. The expansion of the process cooling water system and the compressor system is essential for the reliability of the production machinery, since without them the hydraulic and pneumatic technical requirements of the production machines cannot be met.
