The applicant submits an application to the EFOP-4.1.2-17 "School 2020: Infrastructural development of public education institutions to promote disadvantage compensation and quality education" in order to develop a quality educational environment in the building of the Mezőkövesd Primary School and Primary Art School (3400 Mezőkövesd, Hősök Square 14.). The place of performance of the tasks involved in the development shall be the seat of the institution. The applicant’s school district was founded on 1 January 2017 with the merger of the former school districts of Mezőkövesdi, Mezőcsáti and Tiszaújváros. As a separate economic unit, it currently has 50 tasks. Justification for development: The Mezőkövesd Primary School and Primary Art School has not been developed in the last 15 years. The facade is crumbling, the roof is soaked, the classrooms are degraded. The school currently has 14 rooms, the equipment and physical condition of which are below the expectations of today’s state of the art education standards. There’s no development room in the building, no language lab, no science lab. The current IT room is small and its technological standards and equipment are underdeveloped. We do not have an IT server, but it would be necessary because of the E-log. The school library used to be an elementary school class. Its size and equipment do not meet the requirements of the school library, its inventory is outdated, there are no digital devices in the library. The school dining and heating kitchen also needs to be improved in terms of infrastructure and equipment development. The fitness of the current gym and sports yard is not suitable for the infrastructure and equipment requirements of everyday physical education. The Institute’s Primary School of Art (3400 Mezőkövesd, Mátyás Király út 130. Hr.: 2593) is another target for development. The building of the member school is in extremely poor condition, it is already completely unsuitable for education. It wet from below, molds, soaks from above during heavy rains. Its heating system is extremely outdated electric stove, and it is also bad and unregulated. We don't get a touch protection clearance anymore. Engineering (drawers, etc.) is constantly blocked. The classrooms are small not designed for educational purposes in the building. His fence is crumbling. The passage between the two buildings is dangerous due to the need to cross the main road of the city. The headquarters institution currently has 246 students (52 HH and 48 HHH), 307 students in the art school (2 of which are HH and 16 HHH). The current number of staff will continue to increase if it becomes a regional central school. In this case, about the municipalities of Cserépfalu, Bükkzsérc and Borsodivánka in total: 120 more students can be counted. Full compliance with the requirements of the new Public Education Act poses a challenge for both state-owned and religious and other institutions in maintenance. The use of support for the implementation of everyday physical education is indispensable. The project promotes sustainable operation and compliance with legal obligations and supports the creation of conditions for quality education. It helps the institution complete its inclusive and accepting approach and provide students with disadvantaged and special educational needs with integrated, high-quality education among non-disadvantaged pupils. Planned activities: Demolition of the gym, construction of a new larger gym (350 m²)? renovation of the old wing of the building, the development of a specialised schoolroom, the refurbishment of a new building, including the creation of musical speciality halls (310 m²)? linking the new building to the main building (100 m²) project preparation (Preparation of a feasibility study; Preparation of technical planning documents, export and authorisation plans; Professional preparation of public procurement procedures, public procurement, assessment of schools based on the number of pupils, infrastructural conditions, accessibility), project management, provision of information and publicity, auditing. The aim of the project is to create a healthy, safe, equally accessible and motivating environment for students, to create a modern and rationally designed educational environment. The aim is to ensure a high-quality and stable operation in accordance with the Public Education Act and the mandatory instrument and space list. The target group of the project is the total number of students and the faculty of teachers, as well as the technical staff. Indirect target groups are the families of pupils, families with young children and more children in the city, families with children of school age in the region. (English)

A homlokzat omladozik, a tető beázik, a tantermek állapota leromlott. A fűtési rendszere rendkívül korszerűtlen villanykályhás, ráadásul azok is rosszak, szabályozhatatlanok. A gépészet (lefolyók stb.) folyamatosan eldugulnak. A kerítése omladozik. A két épület közötti átjárás balesetveszélyes, tekintettel arra, hogy a város főútján is át kell kelni. A székhely intézményben jelenleg 246 fő (ebből 52 fő HH és 48 fő HHH), a művészeti iskolában 307 fő (ebből 2 fő HH és 16 fő HHH) tanuló van. A jelenlegi létszám tovább bővül, amennyiben térségi központi iskola lesz. A mindennapos testnevelés megvalósításához megkerülhetetlen a támogatás igénybevétele. (Hungarian)
