In order to solve the problems specific to the territory of the functional zone Šalčininkai+ and to encourage the integrated development of functional zones based on cooperation between municipalities, the project envisages the implementation of activities jointly planned by the Šalčininkai district and Vilnius district municipalities, signed in agreement No A56(1)-552-(3.18) of 15 May 2020, which are jointly planned by the residents of several municipalities — Šalčininkai district and Vilnius district. Three strands of action are planned during the implementation of the project: 1) Promotion of economic activity and investment and the development of services. In order to achieve this objective, the following are envisaged: to apply the abandoned territory Vilniaus g. 3F, Šalčininkai to industrial investments, to renovate the markets of Rudamina and Šalčininkai, to create and update the infrastructure of the Merkys river tourism route (Jašiūnai mstl., Merkinė village, Rūdininkai village, Tabariškiai village, Turgeliai village, Vilkiškiai village). 2) Improving the convenience of public transport infrastructure and the attractiveness of public transport by increasing the accessibility of jobs and services. In order to achieve this objective, the following are envisaged: renovating the Šalčininkai bus station, installing three Park&Ride areas in Jašiūnai, Šalčininkai and Zavišoniai village, acquiring three electric low-powered buses, and equipment for bicycle transportation. 3) Developing the supply of social services and meeting the needs of the target group. In order to achieve this objective, the following are envisaged: purchase a bus suitable for transporting disabled groups and start providing general social services for persons with reduced mobility, refurbishing 3 leisure, wellness and sports complexes (Eišiškės, Jašiūnai and Šalčininkai), organising active ageing and support services for families with children with disabilities, adapting the oficina premises of Jašiūnai Manor for educating and introducing creativity training for the integration of children from social risk families, summer camps for the integration of social risk families. Siekiant spręsti funkcinės zonos Šalčininkai+ teritorijai būdingas problemas bei paskatinti savivaldybių bendradarbiavimu grįstą kompleksinį funkcinių zonų vystymą, Projekto metu numatoma įgyvendinti Šalčininkų rajono ir Vilniaus rajono savivaldybių 2020 m. gegužės 15 d. susitarimu Nr. A56(1)-552-(3.18) pasirašytoje Šalčininkai+ plėtros strategijoje bendrai suplanuotas veiklas, kurių naudą ir rezultatus gaus kelių savivaldybių – Šalčininkų rajono ir Vilniaus rajono – gyventojai. Projekto įgyvendinimo metu planuojamos trys veiksmų kryptys: 1) Ekonominio aktyvumo ir investicijų skatinimas bei paslaugų plėtra. Šiam uždaviniui įgyvendinti numatoma: pramonės investicijoms pritaikyti apleistą teritoriją Vilniaus g. 3F, Šalčininkai, atnaujinti Rudaminos ir Šalčininkų turgavietes, sukurti ir atnaujinti Merkio upės turizmo trasos infrastruktūrą (Jašiūnų mstl., Merkinės k., Rūdininkų k., Tabariškių k., Turgelių k., Vilkiškių k.). 2) Viešojo transporto infrastruktūros patogumo ir viešojo transporto patrauklumo didinimas, didinant darbo vietų ir paslaugų pasiekiamumą. Šiam uždaviniui įgyvendinti numatoma: renovuoti Šalčininkų autobusų stotį, įrengti tris Park&Ride tipo aikšteles Jašiūnuose, Šalčininkuose ir Zavišonių k., įsigyti tris elektra varomus žemagrindžius autobusus, įrangą dviračių pervežimui. 3) Socialinių paslaugų pasiūlos plėtra bei jų atitikimas tikslinės grupės poreikiams. Šiam uždaviniui įgyvendinti numatoma: įsigyti neįgaliųjų grupių pervežimui pritaikytą autobusą ir juo pradėti teikti bendras socialines paslaugas riboto mobilumo asmenims, atnaujinti 3 laisvalaikio, sveikatingumo ir sporto kompleksus (Eišiškėse, Jašiūnuose ir Šalčininkėliuose), organizuoti aktyvaus senėjimo ir pagalbos šeimoms su neįgaliais vaikais paslaugas, pritaikyti Jašiūnų dvaro oficinos patalpas edukacijoms ir pradėti rengti vaikų iš socialinės rizikos šeimų integracijai skirtus kūrybiškumo mokymus, socialinės rizikos šeimų integracijai skirtas kūrybiškumo vasaros stovyklas.
