Vilniaus miesto pietinei tikslinei teritorijai būdinga problema – nepakankamos galimybės rekreacijai, poilsiui, esama infrastruktūra nesudaro prielaidų paslaugų sektoriaus plėtrai ir kūrimui bei investicijų pritraukimui. Vykstant gyvenamųjų namų plėtrai, kuriantis verslo centrams didėja vaikų žaidimų aikštelių ir žaliųjų poilsio erdvių poreikis. Teritorijoje esantis Reformatų sodas visuomenės poreikiams neišnaudojamas. Dėl nepakankamos infrastruktūros, čia nėra organizuojami jokie kultūros, sporto ar kitokio pobūdžio bendruomenėms skirti renginiai. Problemai spręsti inicijuojamas Reformatų sodo atnaujinimo projektas, kurio tikslas – prisidėti prie sąlygų gyventojų užimtumui didėti ir verslo aplinkai plėtoti Vilniaus mieste. Įgyvendinus projektą bus atkurta sodo sistema – sutvarkyti želdiniai, įrengti nauji takai, mažosios architektūros elementai, vaikų žaidimo aikštelės, fontanas, viešasis tualetas, apšvietimo, lietaus nuotekų, buitinių nuotekų, vandentiekio ir elektros tinklai, prisijungimo prie inžinerinių tinklų įvadai, skirti sezoninei lauko kavinei. Atkurtas sodas taps patrauklia erdve, kuri tenkins aplinkinių rajonų ir kitų Vilniaus gyventojų rekreacines, edukacines ir kultūrines reikmes. Projekto metu sukurta funkcionali viešoji infrastruktūra taps patrauklesnė miesto gyventojams bei svečiams, pagerins miesto centrinės viešosios erdvės estetinį vaizdą bei miesto įvaizdį, padidins miesto investicinį patrauklumą. Dėl didėjančio sodo lankytojų srauto ir augančios paslaugų paklausos, projektas taip pat prisidės prie smulkaus ir vidutinio verslo atstovų poreikių tenkinimo, sudarys sąlygas verslo plėtrai ir naujų darbo vietų kūrimui. The problem specific to the southern target area of Vilnius city is the lack of opportunities for recreation, recreation and existing infrastructure, which do not provide the conditions for the development and creation of the service sector and for attracting investment. In the context of residential development, the need for children’s playgrounds and green recreation areas increases with the creation of business centres. The Reform Garden on the territory is not exploited for the public needs. Due to the lack of infrastructure, no cultural, sport or other community events are organised here. To solve the problem, the Reformed Garden Renovation Project is initiated, the aim of which is to contribute to the conditions for increasing the employment of the population and developing the business environment in Vilnius city. After the implementation of the project, the garden system will be restored — greenery, new paths, small architectural elements, children’s playgrounds, fountain, public toilet, lighting, rainwater, domestic sewage, water supply and electricity networks, as well as connections to engineering networks for seasonal outdoor cafeteria will be restored. The restored garden will become an attractive space that will meet the recreational, educational and cultural needs of surrounding districts and other residents of Vilnius. The functional public infrastructure created during the project will become more attractive for city residents and guests, improve the aesthetic appearance of the city’s central public space and the image of the city, and increase the investment attractiveness of the city. Due to the growing flow of visitors to the garden and the growing demand for services, the project will also contribute to meeting the needs of small and medium-sized businesses, creating conditions for business development and job creation.
