Įgyvendinant projektą, bus rekonstruota dalis apleistos teritorijos, esančios tarp Karaliaus Mindaugo gatvės ir geležinkelio Šiauliai – Klaipėda, Telšių mieste, infrastruktūros: rekonstruotos ir įrengtos gatvės bei pagrindai, įrengti šaligatviai, pėsčiųjų perėjos, 3 automobilių stovėjimo aikštelės, pakloti lietaus nuotekų tinklai, įrengtas gatvių apšvietimas, nugriauta 12 planuojamos infrastruktūros koridoriuose esančių avarinės būklės statinių. Tvarkomos teritorijos plote bus atnaujintos esamos ir pasodintos naujos vejos, iškirsti menkaverčiai krūmai ir medžiai, įrengti mažosios architektūros elementai (šiukšliadėžės ir kt.). Tikimasi, kad teritorijos sutvarkymas prisidės prie Telšių miesto ir rajono gyventojų užimtumo skatinimo, aktualių socialinių ir ekonominių problemų sprendimo, palankių sąlygų naujų įmonių steigimo ir esamų bendrovių plėtros, tiesioginių užsienio investicijų pritraukimo, naujų darbo vietų kūrimo ir pajamų augimo. Projekto metu sukurta infrastruktūra galės naudotis pramonės įmonės ir kiti verslo subjektai ir tokiu būdu pagerės sąlygos šiai tikslinei grupei plėstis ar kurtis, o Telšių miesto ir rajono gyventojai galės naudotis rekonstruota infrastruktūra, jiems padidės galimybė įsidarbinti. During the implementation of the project, part of the infrastructure of the abandoned area between King Mindaugas street and railway Šiauliai-KlaipÄ-da, Telšiai, will be reconstructed: reconstructed and equipped streets and bases, equipped sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, 3 parking lots, rainwater networks laid, street lights were installed, 12 buildings in emergency condition on the planned infrastructure corridors were demolished. The area under management will be renovated and new lawns will be planted, bare shrubs and trees have been cut, small architectural elements (garbage boxes, etc.) will be installed. It is expected that the remediation of the territory will contribute to the promotion of employment of the inhabitants of Telšiai and the district, solving the relevant socio-economic problems, creating favourable conditions for the creation of new businesses and the development of existing companies, attracting foreign direct investment, creating new jobs and increasing income. The infrastructure created during the project will be available to industry and other business entities, thus improving the conditions for the development or establishment of this target group, while the residents of Telšiai city and district will be able to use the reconstructed infrastructure and increase their employability.
