Property / summary

The company’s customers learn foreign languages themselves using specially designed and dedicated websites anglu24.lt and vokieciu24.lt. Based on customer feedback and analysis of system usability and users, it was found that web pages providing services are uncomfortable for everyday use and do not find sufficient and fast information, and the layout is inefficient. The company wants to change the scheme of operation of web pages in order to provide the customer with a more efficient service and at the same time to change its design. Changing the design of the service includes a new service delivery scheme that helps businesses to provide (to the consumer) services more efficiently. Changes in the design of web pages are envisaged, i.e. changes in shape, appearance, technical, operational, etc. The evaluation also found that the system’s environment is not in line with the methodological recommendations that determine how websites adapted to people with disabilities and the elderly are to be developed and evaluated. The company wants to change the design and operation of the websites in order to provide the service to the customer more efficiently and to meet the requirements of E.Inclusion (http://ivpk.lrv.lt/lt/veiklos-sritys-1/e-itrauktis). The modified design solutions must be based on customer feedback, user analysis, recommendations and methodology approved by Order No T-72 of the Director of the Information Society Development Committee of 23 May 2013 approving methodological recommendations for the development, testing and evaluation of web pages adapted to the disabled and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines prepared by the World Wide Web Consortium. The project addresses social problems such as ageing, disability, and meeting the needs of socially vulnerable groups through original product (service) design solutions. The implementation of the project will have a positive impact on the target groups. (English)

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). Projekte originaliais gaminių (paslaugų) dizaino sprendimais yra sprendžiamos tokios socialinės problemos, kaip senėjimo, neįgalumo, socialiai pažeidžiamų grupių poreikių tenkinimo. Projekto įgyvendinimas turės teigiamos įtakos tikslinėms grupėms. (Lithuanian)
