Timmerije is gespecialiseerd in het ontwikkelen, engineeren, produceren, assembleren van kunststof producten. Bij de spuitgietproducent in Neede werken 110 mensen. Timmerije hecht veel waarde aan duurzame inzetbaarheid van deze medewerkers. Men wordt daarbij geconfronteerd met het probleem dat de gemiddelde leeftijd van productiemedewerkers de 50 jaar nadert. Het bedrijf constateert daarbij dat veel medewerkers van boven de 50 jaar moeite hebben met het draaien van ploegendiensten. Dit houdt verband met hun fysieke en psychische gesteldheid. Timmerije wil de individuele situatie van medewerkers in kaart brengen en zodoende preventief beleid kunnen voeren. Fysik Arbo gevraagd een voorstel te doen voor een onderzoek onder alle medewerkers. Het betreft een “0-meting” om daarmee een daadkrachtig protocol voor gezondheidsmanagement op te stellen gericht op het voorkomen van klachten en verzuim. Alle medewerkers zullen worden benaderd om op vrijwillige basis hieraan deel te nemen. Timmerije heeft al vastgesteld dat hiervoor bij de medewerkers veel draagvlak bestaat. De gezondheid van medewerkers wordt in kaart gebracht door o.a.: 1.Een uitgebreide enquête onder medewerkers o.a. gericht op het lichamelijk en psychisch functioneren (afwisseling, zelfstandigheid, hoeveelheid werk, werktempo, emotionele belasting, relatie met leiding, inspraak, toekomstzekerheid, leermogelijkheden, plezier in het werk, betrokkenheid, herstel na het werk, afstand nemen etc.); 2. Diverse metingen gericht op het lichamelijk functioneren o.a. BMI, longfunctie, gezichtsveldonderzoek, bloeddrukonderzoek, lenigheid, audiologisch onderzoek etc. De rapportage wordt door de adviseur verstrekt aan de medewerker met daarbij er individuele terugkoppeling en advies is.
