A área intervencionada (13.644m2) visa dinamizar este espaço e a relação entre o centro histórico, o rio Tâmega e o novo museu de arte contemporânea Nadir Afonso, completando-se, deste modo, o projeto de requalificação urbanística iniciado no âmbito do projeto Polis.
