A total of 13 protected areas will be the subject of the information campaign, 3 of which are fully located in the Shumen region: “Ticha” ZZ (BG0000178), “Shumensko Plato” (BG0000382), “Kabiyuk” SPA (BG0000602), and the territory of the remaining 10 partly overlaps with the area: “Provadiyski-Royaksko Plateau” (BG0000104), “Provadiyski-Royaksko Plateau” (BG0002038) — under the Birds Directive, ZZ “Kirsovska Reka” (BG0000106), “Kotlenska Planina” (BG0000117), and “Kotlenska mountain” (BG0002029) — under the Birds Directive; “KAMENITZA”ZZ (BG0000138), “Rishki Prohod” (BG0000149), “Ekocoridor Kamchia-Emine” (BG0000393), “Preslavska Mountain” SPA (BG0000421), “Goliama Kamchia” (BG0000501). Проектът предвижда организирането на регионална информационна кампания в област Шумен, чрез която ще бъде изградена и споделена визия за защитените територии от екологичната мрежа НАТУРА 2000 в област Шумен.
