Wir bieten für die Schüler der Oberschule Brand-Erbisdorf sozialpädagogische Begleitung zur Sicherung des Schulerfolges, Aktivitäten zur Vermeidung von Schulabbrüchen sowie die individuelle Förderung und Stärkung von Schlüsselkompetenzen (persönliches Coaching) an. Unsere Sozialpädagogin agiert als Bindeglied zwischen Schule und Jugendhilfe und trägt dazu bei, individuelle Schwierigkeiten und Problemlagen der Zielgruppe zu überwinden. Sie ist Bezugsperson für Schüler, Eltern und Lehrer, leistet problembezogene Beratungsarbeit in Einzelgesprächen. Alternativen werden aufgezeigt sowie Entscheidungshilfen gegeben. Die Schüler werden zur Eigeninitiative motiviert. Im Vordergrund aller Tätigkeiten steht der Gedanke, Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe zu leisten. (German)
