Der Kurs besteht aus folgenden Elementen: Deutschunterricht, Fachunterricht, Praktikum und Betriebsbesichtigungen. Den Schwerpunkt der Maßnahme bildet zu Beginn die Festigung und Vertiefung vorhandener Deutschkenntnisse. Im Anschluss erfolgt eine gezielte Förderung der Sprachkompetenz in Bezug auf berufssprachliche Erfordernisse. Begleitend werden Im Fachunterricht allgemeine berufsbezogene Kenntnisse vermittelt, wobei auch hier der sprachlichen Bewältigung der Aufgaben eine zentrale Rolle zukommt. Im weiteren Verlauf des Kurses lernen die Teilnehmenden im Rahmen des Bewerbungstrainings, wie sie ein Bewerbungsgespräch vorbereiten und sprachlich bewältigen können und welche Verhaltensnormen hierbei zu beachten sind. Sie erhalten Unterstützung bei der Anfertigung angemessener Bewerbungsunterlagen und lernen Strategien zur Stellensuche kennen. Im letzten Drittel des Kurses findet ein vierwöchiges Praktikum statt. Nach Absolvierung des Praktikums erfolgt die Vorbereitung auf die Abschlussprüfung auf der Niveaustufe A2. Während des gesamten Kurses erhalten die TeilnehmerInnen Unterstützung durch eine sozialpädagogische Fachkraft (Integrationsbegleiterin), die ihnen bei der Jobsuche, der Planung des weiteren beruflichen Weges aber auch bei der Lösung persönlicher Probleme hilft.
