Development of microanalytical polymer reference materials By actively shaping the production process, the production of our own microanalytical reference materials, our nano pellets, is to be made possible for polymer analysis. In order to make analyses of plastic packaging of e.g. food safer, an alternative to dangerous acid digestion analysis methods is required. By developing ultrahomogenous microanalytical reference materials, these can become obsolete and enable analysis directly on the solids in the future. In doing so, we are devoting ourselves to the worldwide lack of certified polymer reference materials for solids analysis, in which the internal quality assurance process is to be adapted to polymers.
