CAREL ist ein digitales Werkzeug aus dem Bereich der Geolnformatlk. Es dient dazu, durch automatisierte Potenzialanalysen für Windkraft und Solarenergle den European Green Deal sowie die Klimaschutzziele des Bundes umzusetzen. CAREL liefert erstmals eine Möglichkeit, mit Algorithmen auf Basis der ab 2021 EU-weit vorhandenen Geodäten (INSPIRE) Potenzial- und Standortanalysen zu erstellen, die als Open-Source-Daten für Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Verwaltung online zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Carel is a digital tool in the field of Geolnformatlk. It serves to implement the European Green Deal and the federal climate protection goals through automated potential analyses for wind power and solar energy. For the first time, Carel provides an opportunity to use algorithms based on EU-wide geodesies (INSPIRE) to create potential and location analyses that are made available online as open source data for business, science and administration.
