Die antragstellende Schramm Hotel Verwaltungs GmbH & Co. KG betreibt seit 2010 das Hotel Garni "Kleiner Yachthafen" in Brunsbüttel. Zur Erschließung neuer Gästegruppen im gehobenen Klassifizierungssegement (4 Sterne Superior) plant das Unternehmen nunmehr den Bau eines zweiten Hotels mit insgesamt 80 Zimmereinheiten in zentraler Lage der Stadt. Unter der Woche wird das Angebot vorwiegend auf Geschäfts- und Tagungsreisende (Industriestandort) abzielen. An Wochenenden sollen schwerpunktmäßig Kurzzeiturlauber sowie „Entschleuniger“ angesprochen werden.Der Hotelbau ist geplant auf der ungenutzten Fläche des Freizeithallenbades LUV in Brunsbüttel. Dieses liegt direkt am Ufer der Braake, mit ihrem ca. 5 Kilometer attraktivem Wanderweg. Das Freizeitbad wurde in den Jahren 2014 und 15 umfangreich modernisiert. Direkt an das Schwimm-bad angrenzend befindet sich eine großzügige Saunalandschaft. Das Freizeitbad liegt in zentraler Lage Brunsbüttels am südlichen Rand des ca. 6 Ha großen Bürgerparks.Das zur Förderung beantragte Vorhaben umfasst die Errichtung des Gebäudekörpers im Stile eines maritimen Lagerspeichers im sog. Neuengland- bzw. Hamptons-Stil auf 4+1 Geschossebenen. Neben dem Beherbergungsbereich sind eine Lobby, ein Restaurant- und Barbereich sowie Ta-gungsräumlichkeiten vorgesehen. Ein moderner Wellness- und Fitnessbereich ergänzt das geplante Angebot. Eine Kooperation bzw. bauliche Verbindung zum Freizeitbad ist in Planung. (German)
