Am Industriestandort Brunsbüttel wird über Elektrolyse Wasserstoff aus Windstrom hergestellt. Dieser wird in das lokale Erdgasnetz eingespeist und vermengt sich hier mit zu einem Erdgas/Wasserstoff-Gemisch. Dieses Gemisch wird am Projektstandort über eine Tankstelle dem Mobilitätssektor in Form von "HCNG" bzw. "WindGas" zur Verfügung gestellt. Die geplante Anschaffung entsprechender Fahrzeuge (LKWs, Traktoren) tragen zu einem nachhaltigen Beitrag zur CO2-Reduktion in der Landwirtschaft sowie der angeschlossener Transportlogistik bei.
