    Kleine, einfach zu bedienende Autonome Unterwasserfahrzeuge (Autonomous Underwater Vehicles - AUV), die untereinander kommunizieren, sind bis heute nicht serienmäßig auf dem Markt zu erwerben. Die positive Marktentwicklung der letzten Jahre im Bereich der Sensoren und Batterien ermöglicht, dass in diesem Verbundprojekt aus Anwendern, Entwicklern und Produzenten zwei miteinander kooperierende AUV´s made in Schleswig-Holstein für unterschiedliche Aufgaben entwickelt und als Prototypen gebaut werden können. In diesen modularen innovativen Unterwasserfahrzeugen sind Antrieb, Navigation, Telemetrie (akustische und optische Modems), Payload wie Sensoren sowie das Batteriesystem die Hauptkomponenten des Systems.
