Die im Unternehmen implementierte Leitidee fordert höhere Energie- bzw. Materialeffizienz und damit verbunden eine erhebliche CO2-Einsparung. Diese Leitlinie soll mit dem völlig neu gestalteten Prozess in die Praxis umgesetzt werden. Material, welches derzeit entsorgt wird, soll durch den Einsatz innovativer Technik dem Wertstoffkreislauf zugeführt werden. Es kommt zu einer starken Verbesserung der Umweltbilanz des Unternehmens. Derzeit werden ca. 600 Tonnen Kunststoff entsorgt. Durch die Investition in Sortiertechnik, bestehend aus einer innovativen Kombination aus Sorter, Extruder und Filter, werden 98 Prozent dieser Abfälle getrennt und der Wertschöpfungskette erneut zugeführt. Auf Grund aktueller und zukünftig ansteigender Entsorgungs-Engpässe für Kunststoffe stellt sich das Unternehmen nachhaltig und zukunftssicher auf. Aus Abfällen bzw. für deren Entsorgung fallen dem Unternehmen derzeit Kosten an. Diese Abfälle werden zu Rohstoffen zur Weiterverarbeitung in der Kunststoffindustrie. (German)

Material that is currently being disposed of is to be fed into the recycling cycle through the use of innovative technology. There is a strong improvement in the company’s environmental performance. About 600 tons of plastic are currently being disposed of. By investing in sorting technology, consisting of an innovative combination of sorter, extruder and filter, 98 percent of this waste is separated and returned to the value chain again. Due to current and rising waste disposal bottlenecks for plastics, the company is sustainable and future-proof. The company is currently incurring costs from waste or for its disposal. These wastes become raw materials for further processing in the plastics industry. (English)
