Im Forschungscampus ARENA2036 wird eine Brücke zwischen Forschung und Entwicklung im Bereich des Leichtbaus und innovativer Produktionstechnologien geschlagen. In den ARENA2036-Leichtbauprojekten werden zukünftig nicht nur Bauteile auf der Basis faserverstärkter Kunststoffe (FVK) entwickelt, sondern es sollen auch metallische Werkstoffe, die sich durch ein geringeres Gewicht auszeichnen, eingebunden werden. Durch das Integrieren von multifunktionalen Eigenschaften in Bauteile wie zum Beispiel Maßnahmen zur Schall- und Wärmedämmung, sowie thermische, sensorische und elektrische Leitungen, werden Gewicht- und Kostenersparnisse erzielt. Alle Aktivitäten des Forschungscampus ARENA2036 werden in einer Forschungsfabrik systematisch zusammengeführt. So entstehen eine direkte Rückkopplung zwischen Theorie und Praxis und ein enger Austausch zwischen den verschiedenen Disziplinen. (German)

In the future, the ARENA2036 lightweight construction projects will not only develop components based on fiber-reinforced plastics (FVK), but also integrate metallic materials that are characterised by a lower weight. Weight and cost savings are achieved by integrating multifunctional properties into components such as acoustic and thermal insulation measures, as well as thermal, sensory and electrical cables. All activities of the ARENA2036 research campus are systematically brought together in a research factory. This creates a direct feedback between theory and practice and a close exchange between the different disciplines. (English)
