Im Rahmen des Vorhabens wird ein neuartiges Innovations- und Technologietransferzentrum (ITZ Plus) als regionales Innovationszentrum an der Hochschule Biberach gebaut. In diesem werden (1) angewandte Forschungs- und Technologietransferprojekte, insbesondere mit KMUs der Region durchgeführt, in denen vor allem zur (a) Steigerung der Effizienz in den Herstellungsprozessen von Biopharmazeutika und biotechnologischen Verarbeitung von Rohstoffen zur Gewinnung von Wertstoffen bzw. er-neuerbaren Energieträgern sowie (b) der intelligenten Energieversorgung und -verwendung, insbesondere auch in KMUs in Produktions- und Bauprozessen geforscht und gearbeitet wird. Dabei soll (2) der Wissens- und Technologietransfer in Unternehmen und in die Bevölkerung durch die Beteiligungsmethodik der Reallabore verbessert werden. Schließlich wird (3) das ITZ Plus als Keimzelle bzw. Inkubator fungieren, um Existenz- und Ausgründungen zu fördern. (German)

In this project (1) research and technology transfer projects are carried out, in particular with SMEs in the region, in which (a) the efficiency of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and biotechnological processing of raw materials for the extraction of valuables and renewable energy sources and (b) smart energy supply and use are being researched and worked, particularly in SMEs in production and construction processes. The aim is (2) to improve the transfer of knowledge and technology to companies and the population through the participation methodology of the real laboratories. Finally, (3) the ITZ Plus will act as a germ cell or incubator to promote start-ups and spin-offs. (English)
