Ein neues Nahwärmenetz soll den bestehenden Nahwärmeverbund Rathaus-Kinzighaus-Kindergarten um das Schulzentrum, das Hallenbad, ein Pflegeheim, sowie umliegende Wohngebiete erweitern. Die Grundlast wird durch zwei BHKWs in Schule und Pflegeheim bereitgestellt. So kann der Eigenstromvorteil in großen Gebäuden direkt vor Ort genutzt werden. Zwei Holzkessel im Schulzentrum nutzen regionale Energiequellen. Dezentrale Gaskessel decken die Spitzenlast von Großabnehmern, so dass das Netz insgesamt kleiner und effizineter dimensioniert werden kann. Netzverluste und Brennstoffmengen werden damit verringert. Der Rücklauf aus dem Nahwärmenetz wird genutzt, um den Neubau der Mensa und das Hallenbad mit Wärme zu versorgen. 48% der Wärme wird erneuerbar erzeugt, 43% entstehen sehr effizient mit Kraft-Wärme-Kopplung. Nur 9% sind weiterhin fossil und werden nur zu Spitzenlastzeiten eingesetzt. Auch für benachbarte Privathaushalte mit Erneuerungsbedarf bei den Heizungen kann Nahwärme eine Lösung sein. (German)

The base load is provided by two CHP units in school and nursing home. In this way, the in-house electricity advantage can be used in large buildings directly on site. Two wooden boilers in the school centre use regional energy sources. Decentralised gas boilers cover the peak load of large customers, so that the grid can be dimensioned in a smaller and more efficient way. Network losses and fuel volumes are thus reduced. The return from the local heating network is used to supply the new canteen and the indoor pool with heat. 48 % of the heat is produced renewable, 43 % is produced very efficiently with cogeneration. Only 9 % remain fossil and are only used at peak load times. Local heat can also be a solution for neighbouring households with renovation requirements for heating systems. (English)
