Ziel des Vorhabens ist es, die bestehende Nahwärmeversorgung zu modernisieren und in den Bereichen der Nachbargemeinde Wolfach und dem Ortsteil Oberwolfach Kirche auszubauen. Dadurch soll der Weg einer regenerativen und nachhaltigen Energieerzeugung, den sie als Pilotanlage 1995 beschritten hat, konsequent weiter gegangen und ausgebaut werden. Das bestehende Wärmenetz wird in Richtung Wolfach und Oberwolfach erweitert. Die bestehende Energieerzeugung wird durch eine moderne Holzheizung, ein hocheffizentes Blockheizkraftwerk mit Wärmepumpe sowie Wärmebezug aus einem externen Holzkessel ersetzt. Dadurch erfolgt die Wärmeversorgung nahezu vollständig aus regenerativen bzw. nachhaltigen Energieerzeugungsanlagen. (German)
