    El objetivo técnico del proyecto es desarrollar un sistema de inducción con capacidad para la realización de tratamientos térmicos de stress-relief en tubos de gran diámetro disponiendo de un ajuste fino del diferencial de temperaturas entre la temperatura objetivo y los diferentes puntos de medición, sin el empleo de impeders o bobinas de cortocircuito, así como adicionalmente prolongar los tiempos de homogeneización para incrementar las propiedades mecánicas finales de los materiales objeto de tratamiento. El incremento de los tiempos de homogeneización es una de las crecientes demandas que exige el mercado, posibilitar dicho incremento sin el empleo de impeders y manteniendo las diferencias de temperatura, especialmente entre el extremo del tubo y la temperatura objetivo, es el gran reto al que se enfrenta la empresa acometiendo el presente desarrollo._x000D_ La demanda de tiempos de los homogeneización se ha convertido en una demanda creciente en el sector, dada la mejora de las propiedad mecánicas obtenidas en el producto final. El aumento de dichos tiempos tenía como límite en muchas de las instalaciones el uso del impeder, dado el desgaste térmico sufrido por dicho elemento a su cómo su pérdida de efectividad para mantener el extremo del tubo dentro de los límites de tolerancia permitidos, limitaba los tiempos de homogeneización a 30 segundos. Esta limitación sucede igualmente en instalaciones sin impeder, dado que a pesar de que en estas instalaciones los rangos de tolerancia son más flexibles, elevados ciclos de homogeneización hacen que las diferencias de temperatura superen incluso dichos límites._x000D_ La mejora de las prestaciones del presente desarrollo frente a los equipos actuales permitirá cumplir las nuevas exigencias especialmente la calidad y rendimiento del proceso, así como una reducción del mantenimiento y de las paradas no deseadas que limitan la productividad, tras la eliminación de elementos de desgaste de elevado coste y ciclos de vida útil reducido.
