This project falls under the thematic priority Industries of the Future: Robots and autonomous systems. The EXIF project will deliver progress in the following areas of robotics: increased handling capacity in industrial maintenance environments and heavy industry, increased capacity for perception of the environment and incorporation of multimodal perception, increased cognitive capacity that allows the system to be proactive, etc._x000D_ _x000D_ In particular, the project addresses the development of advanced robotic exoskeletons that amplify the user’s own strength allowing the easy and efficient handling of loads and avoiding repetitive movements and the adoption of fatigue or painful postures during industrial maintenance work. The project also proposes the development of an advanced human-machine interface system based on Augmented Reality techniques linked to a comprehensive maintenance computer system. The man-machine interface will have cognitive capabilities that allow it to be proactive in terms of context and environment analysis. (English)

(Spanish)
