However, they are in a poor state of conservation. Some of the stones in its closing wall are at risk of detaching, others have already disappeared over time, and inside there are broken carvings and open tombs. _x000D_ _x000D_ • archaeological sites. Redondela has several listed sites of great importance, such as that of Monte Penide, which is located on the edge of the parishes of Chapela, Trasmañó, Negros, Cedeira and Cabeiro and is considered one of the largest concentrations of tumular burials in the northwestern peninsula. It also offers outstanding sets of rock engravings in the parishes of Ventosela and O Viso.     A través de esta operación se pondrán en marcha un conjunto de actuaciones que tengan como objetivo la recuperación, rehabilitación y señalización de elementos de gran valor histórico y cultural del municipio de Redondela, priorizando aquel/llos que en la actualidad no se encuentre/n señalizado/s o abandonado/s, y que por lo tanto se encuentra/n en peligro deterioro. Entre los elementos sobre los que actuar de manera prioritaria se encuentran:_x000D_ • Cementerios históricos como el de “Os Eidos” construido en 1833 y donde reposan personajes ilustres de Redondela, y que aspira a ser incluido en la lista de la Association of Significant Cemeteries in Europe (ASCE). Este camposanto, está ubicado en el casco antiguo de Redondela y tiene casi dos siglos de antigüedad. Es uno o de los puntos de interés cultural de la localidad por su valor histórico y artístico. Sin embargo, se encuentran en un mal estado de conservación. Parte de las piedras de su muro de cierre se encuentran con riesgo de desprenderse, otras ya han desaparecido con el paso del tiempo, y en el interior hay tallas rotas y tumbas abiertas. _x000D_ _x000D_ • Yacimientos arqueológicos. Redondela cuenta con varios yacimientos catalogados de gran importancia, como el de Monte Penide, que se sitúa en el límite de las parroquias de Chapela, Trasmañó, Negros, Cedeira y Cabeiro y que está considerado como una de las mayores concentraciones de enterramientos tumulares del noroeste peninsular. También ofrece destacados conjuntos de grabados rupestres en las parroquias de Ventosela y O Viso.
