El Real Decreto 463/2020, de 14 de marzo, por el que se declara el estado de alarma para la gestión de la situación de crisis sanitaria ocasionada por el COVID-19 establece en su artículo 9.1 la suspensión de la actividad educativa presencial en todos los centros y etapas, ciclos, grados, cursos y niveles de enseñanza contemplados en el artículo 3 de la Ley Orgánica 2/2006, de 3 de mayo, de Educación. Asimismo, establece que durante el período de suspensión se mantendrán las actividades educativas a través de las modalidades a distancia y «on line», siempre que resulte posible.Esta actuación comprende los equipamientos informáticos y de comunicaciones, principalmente las tabletas electrónicas y tarjetas SIM, adquiridas para facilitar la conexión a Internet y posibilitar la continuación de actividades lectivas a distancia de los alumnos de familias desfavorecidas. Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, which declares the state of alarm for the management of the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19 establishes in its article 9.1 the suspension of face-to-face educational activity in all the centers and stages, cycles, degrees, courses and levels of education contemplated in article 3 of Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3, on Education. Likewise, it establishes that during the suspension period, educational activities will be maintained through distance and online modalities, whenever possible. This action includes computer and communications equipment, mainly electronic tablets and SIM cards, acquired to facilitate Internet connection and enable the continuation of distance learning activities for students from underprivileged families.
