Saaremaa vald osaleb projektis "Puuetega inimeste eluaseme füüsiline kohandamine", mille raames kohandatakse erivajadustega inimeste eluruume nende vajadustele vastavaks. Projekti raames kohandatakse koduseid liikumisteid (nt eluruumi sissepääs, hoone välisukse ja eluruumi vaheline käigutee, hoonesse ja selle territooriumile sissepääs), hügieeniruume ja kööke. Esimeses taotlusvoorus esitati 25 projektitaotlust 36-le kohandusele, millest saavad kasu 29 puuetega isikut kogusummas 114 697,3 eur (Estonian)

Saaremaa Municipality participates in the project "Physical adaptation of the housing of people with disabilities"in which the dwellings of people with special needs are adapted to their needs. The project will adapt home movements (e.g. the entrance to the dwelling, the passageway between the exterior of the building and the dwelling, the entrance to the building and its territory), hygiene rooms and kitchens. In the first call, 25 project proposals were submitted for 36 adaptations, which benefit 29 persons with disabilities for a total amount of EUR 114 697.3 (English)
