The subject of the project is the modernisation of the town hall in Leszno. The Town Hall and the surrounding square are monuments entered in the register of monuments. These are the most important elements of the historical urban plan and the building complex of Leszna, of national importance for cultural heritage. The Baroque-classic town hall is considered one of the most beautiful town halls in Wielkopolska and the country. The Market and Town Hall are the city’s cultural salon, offering events for residents, tourists and cultural interests from all over the country. It is therefore necessary to adapt the current infrastructure to modern needs. Town Hall (importantly: It is not the seat of the President) located in a crisis area and should serve the local and trans-local community by filling the scarcity of space for socio-cultural activities. Unfortunately, this is not the case today, mainly because of the outdated infrastructure, the high degree of technical and moral consumption, the lack of adaptation to modern needs. The City Hall’s potential is not properly exploited, the use of which is symbolic, which does not correspond to social needs and the rank of monument. The implementation of this project is to change this state of affairs.As part of the task, the renovation of the façade and the ground of the Town Hall will be carried out. Przedmiotem projektu jest modernizacja ratusza w Lesznie. Ratusz wraz z otaczającym rynkiem są zabytkami wpisanymi do rejestru zabytków. To najistotniejsze elementy historycznego układu urbanistycznego i zespołu budowlanego m.Leszna, o znaczeniu krajowym dla dziedzictwa kulturowego. Barokowo-klasycystyczny ratusz uznawany jest za jeden z najpiękniejszych ratuszy w Wielkopolsce i kraju. Rynek i Ratusz stanowią salon kulturalny miasta, oferujący imprezy, z których korzystają mieszkańcy, turyści i zainteresowani kulturą z całego kraju. Dlatego konieczne jest dostosowanie obecnej infrastruktury do współczesnych potrzeb. Ratusz (co istotne: NIE jest on siedzibą Prezydenta) znajduje się na obszarze kryzysowym i powinien służyć społeczności lokalnej i ponadlokalnej wypełniając deficyt przestrzeni na działania społeczno-kulturalne. Niestety obecnie tak się nie dzieje, głównie z powodu przestarzałej infrastruktury, dużego stopnia zużycia technicznego i moralnego, niedostosowania do współczesnych potrzeb. Potencjał Ratusza nie jest należycie wykorzystywany, którego wykorzystanie jest symboliczne, nieodpowiadające potrzebom społecznym oraz randze zabytku. Realizacja niniejszego projektu ma ten stan rzeczy zmienić.W ramach realizowanego zadania wykonany zostanie remont elewacji oraz przyziemia Ratusza.
