Projekt jest realizowany z wykorzystaniem istniejącej infrastruktury. Przedmiotem projektu jest „Przeprowadzenie prac konserwatorskich, restauratorskich oraz robót budowlanych w celu zwiększenia atrakcyjności Opery Śląskiej i ochrony jej dziedzictwa kulturowego” w zakresie mechaniki sceny dolnej, mechanizacji górnej, elektroakustyki, oświetlenia scenicznego, instalacji wewnętrznych, instalacji elektrycznej. W projekcie zostaną wykonane: • roboty budowlano-konserwatorskie, • roboty budowlane polegające na przebudowie infrastruktury technicznej, w tym także prace związane ze sceną i jej technologią (mechanika, elektroakustyka, oświetlenie sceniczne), • prace budowlano-montażowe, • prace instalacyjne, w tym instalacje alarmowe, • prace zabezpieczające substancję zabytku, • prace związane z dostosowaniem obiektu do potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych.
