The project will contribute to modernising and achieving higher quality research in line with the highest quality European standards and will contribute to strengthening cooperation between the scientific sector and the economy through the development of R & D infrastructure. The implementation of the project aims to enable comprehensive R & D works in the field of rail transport safety. This will allow the development of new technologies and new construction solutions, which should contribute to a wider range of innovative products, the development of industry and rail transport. The project in question concerns the purchase of the research infrastructure necessary for the implementation of the Research Agenda of the Railway Institute for a period of at least 5 years from the end of the project. The implementation of the Research Agenda will include a research issue in the field of testing elements of rolling stock – a comprehensive R & D project in the field of tribological tests: (A) Development of a new system for monitoring and diagnostics of elements of the dynamometer equipment; (B) Development of a station programming system with the possibility of importing batch files (e.g. railway route requirements, profile, etc.); (C) Developing a system for recording and processing test measurement data; (D) Development of a dynamometer control and control system; (E) Development of a brake friction vapour spraying system simulating the behaviour of these components during both wet and winter tests. In order to carry out the above task, it is necessary to purchase equipment and components consisting of a comprehensive modernisation of the braking station for testing brake pairs in the IK for the Testing Laboratory of the Railway Institute. Realizacja Agendy Badawczej obejmować będzie zagadnienie badawcze w zakresie badań elementów taboru kolejowego - kompleksowy projekt B+R w zakresie badań tribologicznych: (A) Opracowanie nowego systemu monitoringu i diagnostyki elementów wyposażenia stanowiska dynamometrycznego; (B) Opracowanie systemu programowania stanowiska z możliwością importu plików wsadowych (np. dotyczących wymagań trasy kolejowej, profil itp.); (C) Opracowanie systemu rejestracji i obróbki danych pomiarowych z badań; (D) Opracowanie systemu sterowania i kontroli stanowiska dynamometrycznego; (E) Opracowanie systemu zraszania par ciernych hamulca symulujących zachowanie się tych elementów podczas badań w warunkach mokrych jak i zimowych.
