Το Κάστρο Κυπαρισσίας στο Νομό Μεσσηνίας είναι ένα από τα ωραιότερα της Πελοποννήσου. Έχει κτιστεί στο χώρο της αρχαίας ακρόπολης επάνω στα θεμέλια βυζαντινού φρουρίου. Η σημερινή μορφή του διαμορφώθηκε κυρίως στα χρόνια της Φραγκοκρατίας και συνδέεται με τη γνωστή οικογένεια των Βιλλεαρδουίνων. Στο προτεινόμενο έργο περιλαμβάνονται εργασίες για την στερέωση της βραχόμαζας και των θεμελίων των περιμετρικών τειχών του Καστρου, προκειμένου να αντιμετωπιστούν τα προβλήματα ευστάθειας που αντιμετωπίζει και να αποδοθεί με ασφάλεια προς χρήση στους επισκέπτες του μνημείου.
