The main project activities include: cleaning and fortification of the channel Vaya lake - Black sea in Bourgas; delivery of a vertical profiling system for monitoring and maintenance of lake Gala's waters in Enez; conduction of a study on the ecological status of the waters of lakes Vaya (Bourgas) and Gala (Enez); implementation of a specialized training on environmental protection and preservation of biodiversity (2 modules - Burgas and Enez) with representatives of relevant stakeholders from Bourgas and Enez; development of a joint model and an assessment methodology for ecosystem services in lakes Vaya (Bourgas) and Gala (Enez); implementation of awareness-raising campaign in Burgas and Enez.
