Kommuner ska kunna erbjuda bättre daglig hjälp inom sjukvård och omsorg till sina medborgare. Projektet CareWare Nordic vill utveckla möjligheterna med välfärdsteknologiska lösningar. Välfärdsteknik, till exempel mobila larm med GPS-funktion, är digital teknik som kan hjälpa äldre, eller personer med en funktionsnedsättning i deras vardag. Projektet CareWare Nordic vill utgå från goda resultat i danska Aarhus och inom tre år skapa en gemensam plattform i Öresund, Kattegat, Skagerrak, där välfärdsteknologilösningar kan presenteras för offentliga inköpare, institutioner och företag. Företag som erbjuder välfärdsteknologiska tjänster eller produkter ska få möjlighet att skala upp sin verksamhet och få möjlighet till utveckling tillsammans med en kunskapsinstitution. Projektet vill i plattformen också utveckla gemensamma metoder att bedöma och värdera välfärdsteknologiska tjänster och produkter och att sjukvårdspersonal ska förstå värdet och vara motiverade att använda dessa. Förhoppningen är också att plattformen senare ska ge en gemensam styrka att komma in på internationella marknader som EU, Kina, Korea och USA. (Swedish)

Municipalities must be able to offer better daily help in healthcare and care to their citizens. The CareWare Nordic project wants to develop the possibilities with welfare technology solutions. Welfare technology, such as mobile alarms with GPS function, is digital technology that can help the elderly, or people with a disability in their everyday lives. The CareWare Nordic project wants to start from good results in Aarhus, Denmark and within three years create a common platform in the Sound, Kattegat, Skagerrak, where welfare technology solutions can be presented to public purchasers, institutions and companies. Companies that offer welfare technology services or products must be given the opportunity to scale up their operations and have the opportunity for development together with a knowledge institution. In the platform, the project also wants to develop common methods for assessing and evaluating welfare technology services and products and for healthcare professionals to understand the value and be motivated to use them. It is also hoped that the platform will later provide a common strength to enter international markets such as the EU, China, Korea and the United States. (English)
