Obiectivul general al proiectului consta in imbunatatirea mediului urban al Municipiului Botosani, in revitalizarea acestuia prin masuri ce prevad regenerarea unei zone degradate apartinand domeniului public al municipiului, respectiv terenul de pe strada Varnav, nr 17A, mai exact conversia acesteia intr-un parc public. Astfel, prin prezentul proiect, administratia publica locala isi propune transformarea unui teren degradat, neutilizat, amplasat in interiorul orasului, intr-o zona de agrement si de petrecere a timpului liber pentru locuitorii municipiului Botosani. Prin reconversia acestui teren neutilizat, dar care are un potential turistic ridicat, se doreste imbunatatirea calitatii vietii locuitorilor din municipiu, prin punerea la dispozitia acestora a unor facilitati moderne si atractive de petrecere a timpului liber, satisfacandu-le astfel dorinta de recreere si in acelasi timp contribuind la imbunatatirea aspectului estetic al municipiului, precum si la reducerea nivelului de CO2, ca urmare a cresterii suprafetelor verzi. Terenul propus reamenajării este in prezent slab amenajat, conferind zonei un aspect departe de potentialul pe care il poseda avand in vedere amplasarea acestuia precum si potentialul de dezvoltare al zonei. Proiectul este in concordanta cu obiectivul specific al Programului Operational Regional 2014-2020, axa prioritara 4, OS 4.2, prin reconversia si refunctionalizarea unei suprafete degradate si transformarea acesteia intr-un spatiu de agrement - PARC PUBLIC, proiectul aducandu-si contributia la atingerea indicatorului prioritatii de investitie privind „spatii deschise create sau reabilitare in zonele urbane” prin realizarea a 4.097 mp de spatiu verde (compus din spatiu verde/zone inierbate si zone construite) (Romanian)

The general objective of the project is to improve the urban environment of Botosani Municipality, to revitalise it by measures that provide for the regeneration of a degraded area belonging to the public domain of the municipality, namely the land on 17A Varnav Street, namely its conversion into a public park. Thus, through the present project, the local public administration aims to transform a degraded, unused land located inside the city, in a leisure and leisure area for the inhabitants of Botosani. By reconverting this unused land, but which has a high tourist potential, it wants to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the municipality, by providing them with modern and attractive leisure facilities, thus satisfying their desire for recreation and at the same time contributing to the improvement of the aesthetic aspect of the municipality, as well as to the reduction of the CO2 level as a result of the increase of green surfaces. The land proposed for refurbishment is currently poorly arranged, giving the area an aspect far from the potential it possesses considering its location as well as the potential for development of the area. The project is consistent with the specific objective of the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, priority axis 4, OS 4.2, by reconverting and refunctionalising a degraded area and transforming it into a recreational space – PARC PUBLIC, the project contributing to the achievement of the investment priority indicator on “open spaces created or rehabilitation in urban areas” by achieving 4,077 sqm of green space (composed of green space/herbed areas and built areas) (English)
