Celem projektu jest poprawa ochrony różnorodności biologicznej poprzez działania w zakresie edukacji ekologicznej na terenie obszaru NATURA 2000 Tarnobrzeska Dolina Wisły. Głównymrezultatem realizacji projektu będzie zachowanie i promocja bioróżnorodności na terenie Tarnobrzeskiej Doliny Wisły oraz podniesienie jakości funkcjonowania Centrum Promocji ObszaruNatura 2000 w Tarnobrzegu. Rozbudowa infrastruktury ośrodka edukacji ekologicznej, jakim jest Regionalne Centrum Promocji Obszaru Natura 2000, pozwoli na zwiększenie zasięguoddziaływania Centrum, liczby uczestników edukacji ekologicznej, co wpłynie na poszerzenie wiedzy przyrodniczej, wzrost wrażliwości i świadomości ekologicznej mieszkańców regionu orazpodniesienie jakości informacji o środowisku. Zakres rzeczowy projektu obejmuje przebudowę pomieszczeń w drugim budynku Centrum na parterze i piętrze wraz ze wszystkimi niezbędnymiinstalacjami , przebudowę dachu wszystkich oraz niezbędnych instalacji. Na parterze budynku zostaną utworzone 3 sale ekspozycyjne (gdzie prezentowane będą eksponaty przyrodnicze,akwaria i terraria oraz diorama prezentująca brzeg Wisły), biblioteka z czytelnią, pomieszczenie administracyjne oraz przebudowane zostaną sanitariaty z dostosowaniem do potrzeb osóbniepełnosprawnych. Na piętrze planuje się utworzyć salę konferencyjno-multimedialną, pracownię mikroskopową i artystyczną. Budynek zostanieprzystosowany do potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych. (Polish)

The aim of the project is to improve the protection of biodiversity through environmental education activities in the area of NATURA 2000 Tarnobrzeska Vistula Valley. The main result of the project will be preserving and promoting biodiversity in the Tarnobrzeg Vistula Valley and improving the quality of operation of the Natura 2000 Promotion Centre in Tarnobrzeg. The extension of the infrastructure of the eco-education centre, which is the Regional Centre for the Promotion of the Natura 2000 Area, will allow to increase the scope of the Centre’s impact, the number of participants in ecological education, which will increase the natural knowledge, increase sensitivity and environmental awareness of inhabitants of the region and increase the quality of information about the environment. The scope of the project includes the reconstruction of the premises in the second building of the Centre on the ground floor and the floor with all the necessary installations, reconstruction of the roof of all and necessary installations. On the ground floor of the building there will be 3 exhibition halls (where natural exhibits, aquariums and terraria will be presented and a diorama presenting the Vistula River), a library with reading room, administrative room and reconstruction of sanitary facilities with adaptation to the needs of people with disabilities. On the floor there is planned to create a conference and multi-purpose room, a microscope and artistic laboratory. The building will be adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. (English)
