The ultimate aim of the project is the establishment and management of the HKMO’s Register, which will have an impact on the quality, transparency and relevance of qualifications, as regards the labour market. The objectives of the project are consistent with the objectives set out in the Education and Training 2020 strategic document and relate to an increase in the share of adults taking part in lifelong learning programmes. The programmes developed using the standards included in the HKMO will be of quality and consistent with labour market needs, which will have an impact on the increase in the employment rate of the population aged 20-64.
