Opći cilj Pilot projekta je povećanje uporabe vrste prijevoza s nultom razinom emisija CO2 u gradskim i prigradskim područjima Grada Zagreba i Zagrebačke županije. Pilot projekt obuhvaća pripremu projektno-tehničke dokumentacije za potrebe izgradnje i opremanja državne glavne biciklističke rute br. 2 te izgradnju i opremanje pilot dijela biciklističke staze, s ciljem stvaranja preduvjeta za razvoj i poboljšanje biciklističke infrastrukture na području Urbane aglomeracije Zagreb, povezivanjem gradske, regionalne i državne biciklističke mreže, a u svrhu promicanja održive mobilnosti, unapređenja sigurnosti biciklističkog prometa i promicanja istog kao ekološki prihvatljivog prometa. The general objective of the Pilot Project is to increase the use of the zero-CO2 transport modes in urban and suburban areas of the City of Zagreb and Zagreb County of Zagreb. The pilot project involves the preparation of design and technical documentation for the purpose of constructing and equipping state major cycle route 2 and building and equipping the pilot part of a cycle track with the aim of creating the preconditions for the development and improvement of cycling infrastructure in the area of the Urbane agglomeration of Zagreb, connecting urban, regional and government cycle networks, and to promote sustainable mobility, enhance the safety of cycling transport and promote it as an environmentally friendly transport.
