Cilj projekta je doprinijeti jačanju svijesti građana o važnosti odgovornog postupanja sa otpadom, kroz provedbu izobrazno-informativnih aktivnosti, a sve s ciljem smanjenja količine otpada koji se odlaže na odlagališta. Ciljne skupine programa su svi građani grada Gospića, žene, umirovljenici, turisti, milenijska generacija i djeca. Naglasak projekta je stavljen na sustavnu edukaciju i komunikaciju s javnošću, afirmiranje pravilnog postupanja s otpadom i zaštite okoliša kao načina življenja, odnosno stvaranje stava u javnosti o važnosti sprječavanja nastanka otpada, odvojenog prikupljanja otpada, ponovne uporabe predmeta i kućnog kompostiranja, a u svrhu zaštite okoliša i zdravlja stanovništva. The aim of the project is to contribute to strengthening citizens’ awareness of the importance of responsible waste treatment, through implementation of training and information activities, with a view to reducing landfilling. The target groups of the programme are all citizens of the city of Godrinks, women, pensioners, tourists, millennial generations and children. The focus of the project is on systematic training and communication with the public, an affirmation of the correct treatment of waste and the protection of the environment as a means of living or creating public opinion on the importance of waste prevention, separate collection of waste, re-use of items and home composting, in order to protect the environment and the health of the population.
