Izgradnjom novog Regionalnog transfuzijskog centra KBC Split revitalizirati će se brownfield lokacija na području Urbane aglomeracije Split, te će se riješiti problem neadekvatnih uvjeta rada za obavljanje zdravstvene djelatnosti transfuzijske medicine pri KBC Split. Ciljne skupine koje će biti obuhvaćene realizacijom projekta su dobrovoljni darovatelji krvi i krajnji korisnici krvnih pripravaka koji imaju pravo na zdravstvenu zaštitu s naglaskom na efikasnost, sigurnost i kvalitetu usluge, te zaposlenici, stanovnici i posjetitelji Urbane aglomeracije Split, Splitsko dalmatinske županije i šireg područja koje gravitira KBC Split. Building a new KBC Split regional transfusion centre will revitalise the downfield site in the metropolitan area of Split, and will solve the problem of inadequate working conditions for the provision of health services for transfusion medicine at the KBC Split. Targeted groups to be covered by the project are voluntary blood donations and end users of blood products eligible for health care, with a focus on the efficiency, safety and quality of service, as well as employees, residents and visitors to the metropolitan agglomeration of Split, Split-Dalmatia County and the wider area engraved by KBC Split.
