    Projektom Energetske obnove zgrade Osnovne škole Plitvička Jezera - područne škole Smoljanac, koja se nalazi u neposrednoj blizini nacionalnog parka, ostvaruje se ušteda u potrošnji primarne energije za 75,60 % kao i ušteda potrebne toplinske energije za grijanje za 64,00 %. Projekt ima pozitivan utjecaj na učinkovitost resursa i klimatske izazove. Nakon provedbe mjera energetke obnove, smanjiti će se emisija CO2 za 84,70 %. Zgrada je trenutno svrstana u energetski razred C, a nakon obnove će biti razred B. Energetska obnova zgrade obuhvaća: rekonstrukciju vanjske ovojnice (vanjski zidovi, pod prizemlja,krov,zamjena postojeće stolarije), zamjenu rasvjete, rekonstrukciju kotlovnice i promjenu energenta za grijanje- biomasa umjesto lož ulja.     The Plitvička Jezer’s Primary School Building in Plitvička Jezer, a district school located in the immediate vicinity of the national park, saves 75.60 % primary energy consumption as well as saving the heating energy needed for heating by 64.00 %. The project has a positive impact on resource efficiency and climate challenges. Once the energy renovation measures have been implemented, CO2 emissions will be reduced by 84.70 %. A building is currently classified in energy class C and after renovation: class B. Energy renovation of a building shall comprise: the reconstruction of the external envelope (external walls, floor floor, roof, replacement of the existing joinery), the replacement of the lights, the reconstruction of the boiler and the change in the energy product for the pathogen, the biomass instead of the oil tube.
