(Swedish)

In order to increase rail transport volumes, the problem of the bottleneck must be solved when loading the Backe terminal. Today the transshipment at the site is both time-consuming and inefficient. The reloading of a train set with 30 cars takes today between 5-9 hours. The project includes investments aimed at extending the reloading track, gravelling wood planes and installation of camera measurement at the Backe terminal, which together means an efficiency gain when loading goods. As an example, the 1300 trucks currently operating between Hoting and Domsjö could be completely removed, which in turn brings significant environmental benefits. (English)
