    THE PROJECT IS IN THE CONTEXT OF SMART SPECIALISATION IN SMART MANUFACTURING, AS IT CONCERNS THE REALISATION OF AN INNOVATIVE PROCESS USING CONSOLIDATED TECHNOLOGY IN THE INDUSTRIAL FIELD, WATER JET AT VERY HIGH PRESSURE, TO DISRUPT THE TYRES, SEPARATING RUBBER FROM THE METAL BELT IN AN ECONOMICAL AND EFFICIENT WAY, AND ALLOWING THEM TO RECOVER UP TO 95 %. STUDIES AND APPLICATIONS RESULTING FROM DIFFERENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES HAVE CREATED THIS INNOVATIVE START-UP, ALLOWING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PROCESS AND RELATED EQUIPMENT NECESSARY FOR THE DISINTEGRATION OF END-OF-LIFE TYRES (PFU). THE INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION OF THE PROCESS MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO RECOVER THE COMPONENTS OF THE TYRES, WITH QUALITATIVE CHARACTERISTICS THAT CREATE A VERY IMPORTANT BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY AS WELL AS A SPECIMEN OF THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY.
