Projekt stanowi odpowiedź na wyzwania stawiane w ramach Mapy potrzeb zdrowotnych w zakresie chorób układu nerwowego (neurologicznych wieku podeszłego) dla województwa opolskiego (WO). W społeczeństwie wzrasta zachorowanie na choroby otępienne i chorobę Alzheimera. W latach 2020–2029 dla grupy Choroba Alzheimera i inne otępienia prognozuje się w PL wzrost zapadalności rejestrowanej. W roku 2020 zapadalność rejestrowana będzie wynosiła 44 377, a do 2029 r. wzrośnie do 55 425 (wzrost o 25%). Zakładając wyłącznie zmiany demograficzne prognozuje się, że w WO zapadalność rejestrowana w latach 2020–2029 wzrośnie o 21,44%. W celu wydłużenia funkcjonowania tych osób w środowisku domowym niezbędna jest rehabilitacja pacjentów w celu poprawy ich funkcji poznawczych i zapobieganie szybkiemu postępowi choroby, poprawa i utrzymanie sprawności fizycznej. W ramach projektu zaplanowano przebudowę ze zmianą sposobu użytkowania budynku zakładu opiekuńczo-leczniczego SPZOZ w Głuchołazach oraz zakup niezbędnego sprzętu i wyposażenia w celu uruchomienia dziennego oddziału opieki i rehabilitacji osób z zaburzeniami neurologicznymi wieku podeszłego, w tym osób niepełnosprawnych (ON) (Kod świadczenia NFZ 4712 - dzienny oddział psychogeriatryczny). The project is a response to the challenges posed by the Map of health needs in the field of diseases of the nervous system (neurological age) for the Opole Voivodship (WO). Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease are increasing in society. In the years 2020-2029 for Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, an increase in recorded maturity is predicted in PL. In 2020, the recorded maturity will be 44,377, and by 2029 it will increase to 55 425 (an increase of 25 %). Assuming only demographic changes, it is forecast that the incidence recorded in the WO will increase by 21.44 % between 2020 and 2029. In order to prolong the functioning of these people in the home environment, it is necessary to rehabilitate patients in order to improve their cognitive function and prevent the rapid progression of the disease, improve and maintain physical fitness. As part of the project, it is planned to reconstruct with the change of use of the building of the care and treatment facility SPZOZ in Głuchołazy and purchase the necessary equipment and equipment in order to set up a daily department of care and rehabilitation of people with neurological disorders of advanced age, including persons with disabilities (ON) (NFZ 4712 – daily psychogeriatric ward).
