V posledních letech zaznamenali sociální pracovníci a veřejnost ve Svitavách rostoucí počet případů sociálního vyloučení, které se projevuje mj. zvyšujícím se počtem osob bez domova. V současné době se jedná o 90 - 100 osob, převážně mužů. Město Svitavy hodlá v rámci projektu Dobrý start rozšířit nabídku specializovaných odborných sociálních služeb pro tyto občany. S cílem zamezit dalšímu sociálnímu propadu a zlepšení životní situace těchto osob na úrovni sociální, finanční, pracovní a bydlení. (Czech)

In recent years, social workers and the public have seen an increasing number of cases of social exclusion, which are manifested, among other things, by an increasing number of homeless people. There are currently 90 to 100 people, mostly men. The town of Svitavy intends to expand the offer of specialised social services for these citizens as part of the Good Start project. In order to avoid further social decline and improvement of the living situation of these persons at social, financial, labour and housing levels. (English)
