Předmětem projektu je modernizace části silnice I/44 v úseku od konce obce Kouty nad Desnou po hranici okresu Šumperk/Jeseník na Červenohorském sedle. Vozovka se rozšiřuje na kategorii S 9,5/60. Délka úpravy je 7,914 km. Stavba silnice I/44 Červenohorské sedlo-jih navazuje na dokončenou modernizaci úseku silnice I/44 na severní straně Červenohorského sedla, která byla uvedena do provozu v roce 2008. (Czech)

The object of the project is modernisation of the part of road I/44 in the section from the end of the village Kouty nad Desnou to the border of the district Šumperk/Jeseník on Červenohorský saddle. The road is extended to category S 9,5/60. The length of the modification is 7.914 km. The construction of the road I/44 Červenohorské saddle-souh follows the completed modernisation of the section I/44 on the northern side of Červenohorský saddle, which was put into operation in 2008.
