Připravovaný projekt na jižním svahu Kaňku doplňuje péči NPP Kaňk, která je v těsné blízkosti navrhovaných ploch. Tato biologicky cenná lokalita je v rámci Středočeského kraje významnou lokalitou. Pozemky, na kterých roste 80 let starý třešňový porost, jsou v současné ve větší sukcesně zarostlé křovinami. Cílem projektu je plochy mezi stromy vyčistit od náletových dřevin, na vybraných místech vypásat, případně mozaikovitě sekat, aby se zbylá stepní společenstva rozšířila do větších ploch. (Czech)

The planned project on the southern slope of Kaňka complements the care of the Kaňk NPP, which is in close proximity to the proposed areas. This biologically valuable location is an important locality within the Central Bohemian Region. The lands on which the 80 year-old cherry tree grows are currently in larger shrubbery-grown shrubs. The aim of the project is to clean the area between the trees from the raiding trees, to graze or mosaicly mosaicly, so that the remaining steppe communities expand into larger areas. (English)
