Předmětem žádosti o dotaci OPŽP je výstavba výstražného a varovného systému a vytvoření digitálního povodňového plánu města Teplá. Město je ohrožováno povodněmi a nemá dostatečný nástroj a systém pro prevenci povodňových škod a řízení krizových situací. Zpracováním dPP a výstavbou LVVS dojde k vytvoření účinného a spolehlivého nástroje prevence a minimalizace škodných událostí v intravilánu města a technické infrastruktuře a ohrožení lidských životů v době povodňových průtoků.
