Cílem projektu je zvýšení bezpečnosti tramvají vzhledem k chodcům. Projekt bude řešit úlohy pasivní i aktivní bezpečnosti. Bude vytvořena metodika nárazových zkoušek tramvaj-chodec s testovací figurínou. Po mnoha crashtestech bude vytvořen a validován simulační model střetu tramvaj-chodec. Přínosem bude efektivní návrh bezpečnějších konstrukcí vozidel. Zařízení a metodika bude využita pro experimentální ověření přínosu, funkčnosti a potřebnosti systému automatického brzdění před překážkou. a. (Czech)
