Cílem tohoto projektu je poznat mechanismy, které definují meiotické dělení a diferenciaci pohlavních buněk u rostlin; součástí tohoto úsilí bude vyvinutí technologií umožňujících diferenciaci pohlavních buněk in vitro, zobrazování meiózy v reálném čase a manipulaci meiotických procesů. Projekt doplňuje stávající výzkumné aktivity CEITECu přispívá k mezioborovosti, mezinárodní spolupráci výzkumného centra a má silný aplikační potenciál při šlechtění rostlin. a. (Czech)

The aim of this project is to recognise the mechanisms that define meiotic division and differentiation of sex cells in plants; this will include the development of technologies to enable in vitro sex cell differentiation, real-time display and manipulation of meiotic processes. The project complements the existing research activities of CEITECU, contributes to interdisciplinarity, the international cooperation of the research centre and has a strong application potential for plant breeding.
