W jego ramach finansowane będą w urzędach wojewódzkich koszty zatrudnienia pracowników zaangażowanych w przeprowadzanie kontroli I stopnia w Programach Interreg VA w 2018 roku oraz koszty dodatkowego wynagrodzenia rocznego dla osób, które w 2017 roku wykonywały zadania kontrolera I stopnia. Zgodnie z przyjętymi w Szczegółowym opisie osi priorytetowych Programu Operacyjnego Pomoc Techniczna 2014-2020 zapisami wniosek dla urzędów wojewódzkich składany jest przez Instytucję Zarządzającą/Instytucję Krajową dla programów EWT w Ministerstwie Inwestycji i Rozwoju.
